Hi, my name is Sameh, I'm from Tunisia and I'm the person behind the Sweet Sam Design brand that I’ve created in 2018. I’m a wife and a mum and as of 2019 I’m a full time crochet pattern designer and a blogger.

My mum taught me to crochet when I was about 14 years old but I haven’t seriously started to crochet till I was 28, after becoming a mother of a beautiful girl Noor. It was very important for me to spend as much time as possible with her which made me rethink my career. More than wanting to be home, I wanted to do something I really love and was extremely passionate about. It didn't take much self-searching to admit I'm a crochet addict. My heart is always in designing and that’s where I decided to put all my efforts in for the time being.

I’m a network and telecommunications engineer, I’ve worked as an Informatics Engineer / Web Development Engineer since I graduated from the university but I also have this creative side of me that loves arts and crafts. I love testing my creative powers, designing new items, and sharing my love of crochet with the world! What I love about designing the patterns is that I can use my mathematical skill in the process of designing a pattern. What I love about blogging is that I can use also my web/digital designs skills, so all of these tie in very well with what I do. I hope it will help me succeed and you enjoy my crochet patterns as much as I enjoy creating and writing them for you.
